Geologists

Description:
Candidates are required in the fields of sedimentology, structural and mathematical geology.
Sedimentologists, qualified to MSc or PhD level will preferably have previous experience of the sedimentological interpretation of borehole images or cores. Experience of deep or shallow marine siliciclastic systems is essential.
Structural Geologists will be qualified to MSc or PhD level with, preferably, previous experience of the structural interpretation of borehole images or cores. Experience of fault and fracture characterisation and the analysis of in-situ stress would be of benefit.
A mathematical geologist, also qualified to MSc or PhD level, is required with previous experience of modelling of surfaces and associated programming.
For each discipline strong skills in the presentation and reporting of data would be highly advantageous, together with a knowledge of petrophysical interpretation techniques.

Task Geoscience require a business development manager with a proven background in technical sales, well logging/processing or core analysis. The position is based in Aberdeen with extensive overseas travel.
Our ability to determine client needs and provide technical solutions on a timely basis and at a competitive price has resulted in continued expansion of the business, which now requires additional resources. You will drive new business development on an international basis, be flexible, responsive and diligent in building and maintaining client relationships. Education to degree level in a relevant discipline is desirable.
Salary package and benefits are negotiable depending on knowledge and experience.
