Fractured reservoir paper at IPA 2010, Jakarta, May

Task are contributing to the Indonesian Petroleum Association 2010 conference in Jakarta, by co-authoring a paper presented by Trevor Magee of Cooper Energy on the viability of a fractured carbonate reservoir in the Kujung Formation of Madura Island, Indonesia. The paper will be available for download from our technical articles page (in the resources section) following the conference.

Full waveform sonic analysis added to the suite of Task Geoscience services

Task Geoscience now has the capability to offer interpretation of low-frequency Stoneley waveform data. This service will complement the existing suite of core and image interpretation analyses offered by Task, by providing information on potential mobility and open fractures intersecting the borehole. Further details are available on the full waveform sonic analysis page in the services section of the website.

Task to present at GEO 2010, Bahrain

Task Geoscience will present at the GEO 2010 9th Middle East Conference and Exhibition in Manama, Bahrain. The oral presentation An Integrated Study of Basement Rocks in the Bayoot Field, Say'un-Masila Basin, Yemen will take place in the Fractured Plays session on March 8, 2010, 4:15 PM to 4:40 PM in Room 1.
